I run the Data Warehousing and GenAI Solutions team at AWS. Before that I spent years inside enterprises watching the same thing happen over and over: the process works, the people are good, and nothing is written down.

The same gap shows up on the engineering side. Teams with excellent code and an architecture diagram that stopped being true a year and a half ago.

Both problems have the same shape. The documentation doesn't exist, but the raw material does — it is sitting in the wikis, the meeting notes, the inboxes and the repositories. So I started building something to read the raw material and write the documentation.

That is Zipper Blueprint. It is a Zipper Data Co. product, and both halves of it are in early access.
